A small commercial bank in central North Carolina recently consulted with Computer Service Partners to upgrade the servers in 17 branch locations and upgrade their Novell Netware 5.1 and GroupWise 6. We outlined a plan for the replacement of some of the servers and the upgrading of the Novell operating system and GroupWise.

Breaking the project into two components, CSP first went about converting the branch and headquarter's computers to Novell 5.1. With a team of skilled network engineers working nights and weekends, CSP was able to complete the upgrades with very little lost productivity for the bank, or branch downtime. Next, CSP engineers -- again working mostly after hours -- successfully installed GroupWise into the bank's headquarters and all branches with no lost time.

Today, the new environment is stable and productive and CSP actively manages and maintains the bank's backoffice systems.
