Manufacturing Industry Case Study

A well-known manufacturing company headquartered in Winston-Salem, NC, with 58 outlets throughout the United States, recently contracted with Computer Service Partners to implement a Wide Area Network while rolling out Novell Netware 6.0 and GroupWise 6 for 200+ users. CSP was brought in as a consultant in the preliminary stages of the project for both recommendations and implementation.

As a result of our recommendations, the customer installed 58 Cisco 1751 routers running 3DES security in their remote locations as the backbone of their WAN. In addition, CSP recommended, and the customer implemented, six new IBM Netfinity servers to perform all of the necessary functions of running their Novell file and print services, Groupwise (with full failover and redundancy), desktop faxing, web services, and file backup.

This satisfied customer is currently up and running with ongoing network support being provided by experienced CSP Network Engineers.
