CSP’s staff members are staying healthy and active by participating in various sports activities throughout the year.  A few of our Engineers are playing in a local Men’s Open, “Co’ed” Softball League offered by the Town of Cary.  The program offers adults living in Cary and surrounding areas the opportunity to play in a well-structured, supervised and enjoyable sports league.  The programs include; softball, basketball, tennis, and volleyball.  The program’s administrators help individuals who are interested in participating find teams to join and they also assist teams of friends/co-workers, who want to form teams.

CSP sponsored the Men’s Open Co’ed Softball League and helped provide team uniforms and equipment for the staff who participated.  System Engineer, Anthony Monteverde, and Client Engineer, Jason Richardson, both enjoyed the weekly challenges of this team sport.  The team, called “Stray Cats” consisted of 16 team members.  They played on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  Monteverde is recruiting and planning to participate in the upcoming Spring league.

“Although we did not win a lot of games, we played our best.  There are only a few opportunities to participate in organized sports leagues for adults in this area.  I’ve always enjoyed playing softball.  This league is fun and a great way to stay active.  I’d like to extend an offer to other CSP staff members to join and maybe we will be able to have a CSP Softball Team one day.” states, Anthony Monteverde.   For more information about the Town of Cary’s Adult Sports program visit, http://www.townofcary.org/recreation-enjoyment/sports/adult-sports.

We are proud of our staff for staying healthy and active.
