CSP is proud to have the opportunity to support the “Paying it Forward” Christmas Angel Program again this year. Each department at CSP volunteered to sponsor a child in need. The response from the CSP team was fantastic. The presents and donations have been delivered throughout the month of December by Heather Carpenter-Moore, CSP’s Project Manager and her husband, David Moore. Both Heather and David dressed the part and put smiles on the faces of so many this Holiday Season.
Heather stated; “The official count is in and this year we far surpassed anything we could have imagined. Thanks to all of your efforts we were able to supply Christmas gifts for over 273 kids.”
About Paying It Forward…
Paying it Forward is a charity started by Heather along with community members nearly three years ago to support fundraising efforts in Johnson County. This group has raised awareness and created a platform for people in the community to both ask for help and give generously. This year alone, they have provided 175 backpacks full of school supplies, 165 Easter baskets, 22 Thanksgiving Meals, helped build ramps for wheel chairs, provided housing for homeless and paid off numerous electric bills to keep the heat on for families in need.
