CSP, Inc.’s staff members teamed up for the annual Foosball Tournament earlier this year. Our team members look forward to the intense competition of this event each Spring. The tournament rounds were played over the past few weeks and the Finals were held on Friday, May 5th.
Congratulations to Michael Koenig and Josh Wilshire for winning the 2017 CSP Foosball Tournament. Team Koenig and Wilshire played in the Finals against skilled opponents, Scott Forbes and Stephen Riddick.
The Finals were a best 2-out-of-3 format, with each game to 5. The finals started extremely tight with the first game tied at 4-4, before Josh Wilshire scored a defensive goal to win 5-4. Josh then heated up and quickly extended the lead in the 2nd game. It was too fast of a start to overcome. Team Koenig/Wilshire easily won 5-2 to claim the championship.
For his performance, Josh Wilshire was named tournament MVP. As he raised his trophy, he exclaimed, “It was a great tournament. I’m so proud of all that Michael and I accomplished. I couldn’t be happier.”
This fast-paced, exciting game is one of the many team building activities that CSP, Inc. fosters. Some of our engineers work off-site with our clients throughout the week. Our team building activities allow them the opportunity to spend time with their fellow team members when they are on-site. CSP believes that team building activities improve productivity, motivation and working relationships.
The winners receive a year’s worth of bragging rights and a Foosball Trophy that will be displayed in their department.
