CSP COVID-19 Update #8, May 22nd

Dear Valued CSP Client:

We hope you have remained well and productive throughout the pandemic. See our latest updates below, as CSP continues to refine procedures given the evolving circumstances surrounding the COVID-19 epidemic. Today’s updates include:

  • Response to North Carolina Safer at Home Phase 2 Reopening Orders
  • Client On-Site Visit Guidelines
  • May 25 Holiday Closing

Response to North Carolina Safer at Home Phase 2 Reopening Orders

  • CSP continues to provide comprehensive IT services throughout the pandemic while complying with the spirit of government orders and guidelines. We continue to be sensitive to operating in a fashion that prioritizes the safety of both client and CSP staff.
  • CSP’s systems for monitoring and managing your IT operations are designed so our staff can operate “virtually.” Almost every CSP staff member has been working from home for the last two months. We will continue indefinitely with the policy of allowing staff members to elect whether to work from home or come to the office.
  • CSP’s focus will continue to be to provide IT support remotely. Over 90% of IT support needs can be handled remotely.
  • CSP will continue to provide on-site support for IT issues that cannot be promptly remediated remotely. Subject to safety practices outlined below, CSP will now also reinstate on-site support for those clients who prefer regularly scheduled on-site visits.
  • On-site visits can continue as long as both CSP and the client are maintaining safe working environments, follow practices including frequent and thorough sanitation practices, no instances of positive COVID-19 testing, etc.
  • The rear entrance of CSP’s headquarters office continues to be staffed, albeit intermittently. If you need to visit the CSP office, please call to schedule an appointment.

Client On-Site Visit Guidelines

  • CSP staff will not proceed to a client site if they are symptomatic or if they have been exposed to someone infected with COVID-19.
  • When at a client site, CSP staff will always wear a mask. And, they have been instructed to maintain social distancing of at least 6 feet.
  • If an engineer needs to visit a user’s PC, printer, etc., we request the user move at least six feet away. We also ask the user to “wipe down” his or her keyboard, mouse, printer, etc. BEFORE our engineer touches it.
  • Visits to smaller spaces such as network closets or server rooms must be limited to one person in the room at a time.

We trust you understand and agree with these guidelines. However, if you have any questions or concerns, please contact your CSP account manager.

The CSP Team remains committed to supporting you throughout this crisis. If you need us, please contact our help desk at 919-424-2060 or service@cspinc.com.

Sincerely,

Your CSP IT Service Team
