As you may have seen in the news, Microsoft has discovered some zero-day vulnerabilities within its Exchange environment. It appears a nation-state-affiliated group has been exploiting these gaps. Microsoft released some emergency patches yesterday to address these vulnerabilities.

We have been monitoring the situation and have some important updates:

Exchange Online (hosted in Microsoft 365) is NOT affected by this incident. Fortunately, most of our clients are on Microsoft 365. For you, no action was/is needed.

The vulnerabilities exist in on-premise Exchange Servers 2010, 2013, 2016, and 2019. Microsoft released emergency patches for these yesterday. If you are leveraging one of these versions of Microsoft Exchange, our NOC deployed these patches last night. You have the latest protections and we will be monitoring your systems for any anomalies.

Feel free to reach out to your Client Success Manager if you have any additional questions.
