CSP Inc.’s Employee of the Quarter Program recognizes the outstanding qualities and contributions of employees who provide high-level customer service with a focus on departmental and companywide goals and mission.
Congratulations to Tommy Williams on earning the Employee of the Quarter (EOQ) award for the fourth quarter of 2016! Tommy has worked for CSP, Inc. since July 1998, (19 years). This is his third time being awarded the EOQ. He was recognized for his accomplishments and awarded EOQ in 2004 and 2006. Tommy continues to provide the highest level of quality client support and services as a Sr. Hardware Engineer. Tommy’s training allows him the skills to maintain all types of printers; including, Hewlett-Packard, Dell, and IBM, Lenovo desktops, laptops, and tablets.
Tommy is a native of North Carolina. He was born and raised in Kenly, a small town with a population of about 1,400 residents. Tommy has two children, Tyler, 23 and Victoria, 17. He likes to grill and enjoys spending time with his family over a good meal. He is a huge baseball fan and whenever possible, enjoys attending games at Yankee Stadium. His hobbies include playing softball, coaching and participating in various sports activities. Tommy is very competitive and volunteers to mentor and coach kids in recreation sports. He enjoys all types of music, ranging from top 40 R&B to Rock. His favorite movies are “Happy Gilmore” a 1996 sports comedy film starring Adam Sandler, “The Sandlot” a 1993 coming-of-age baseball comedy film and “The Shawshank Redemption” a 1994 American drama film starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman.
When asked, “What do you like most about your job?” Tommy replied, “I enjoy going to different locations knowing that I am there to repair their equipment and get the client back operational. Sometimes you can’t repair everything while onsite due to other circumstances; however, if I can put the customer’s worries at ease, then that is my priority. Having the opportunity to meet our clients face-to-face allows me to get to know them on a personal level while providing them with excellent service.”
